Flowers and greeneries are essential to me, and i love being out in the nature I am absolutely fascinated by the colours in nature, the beauty, grace, Fragility and force in the plants and are doing my best to capture the values, tones, light and shade, trying to grab the drama. I preferably work in watercolour and graphite. I get exited of complicated structures and compositions. My interset in botany comes from love of investigating and learning of the plants i am painting inspired by our famous swedish Carl Von Linneaus and his work.
I got in touch with Botanical Art in 2019 via Billy Showell in the aim of get the grip of Watercolour. In a short while I fell in love with Botanical Art and the callenge to capture the stunning colours and beauty of nature.
After graduating from SBAs' distance diploma course 2023 I came in contact with Margaret Best in Canada, who brought me into graphite, which has further opened my eye for the importance of value and tone.
I work in watercolour but also in graphite and are continually developing and refining my craft. I live in Stockholm, Sweden and thanks to the botanical society I have made botanical friends all over the world.
